Day 2 · Trek & Homestay

Dzuleke to a Heritage Village

Transfer to Dzuleke and begin a scenic 11–15 km trek through forests, ridgelines and untouched Naga landscapes to a remote heritage village. Settle into a traditional homestay and meet the family who will host you.

Day 3 · Village Life

Village Life & Onward Journey

Wake to the sounds of village life and a traditional breakfast. A guided walk reveals traditional architecture, farming and daily customs, before we transfer to a second heritage village and check in to a local eco-lodge.

Day 4 · The Big Climb

Trek to Dzukou Valley

The ascent to the legendary Dzukou Valley, through forests, mountain trails and highland landscapes. Reach camp, explore the valley's vast rolling meadows and viewpoints, and witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in Northeast India.

Day 5 · Sunrise & Return

Dzukou Sunrise, Back to Kohima

An early-morning sunrise walk through the grasslands, streams and panoramic viewpoints that make Dzukou famous. After breakfast we pack up, begin the descent and transfer back to Kohima for a well-earned rest.

Day 6 · Culture & Markets

A relaxed day exploring Kohima's markets and cultural spots, traditional Naga handicrafts, textiles, organic produce, spices and handmade souvenirs. Learn more about the state's many tribes before a farewell dinner and trip reflections.
